How Thompson Drop-Table Adjusting WORKS
Play Video

This is a technique that was originated in the 1950’s by Dr. Clay Thompson. The technique uses an adjusting table with segmented drops. These drops lower various parts of the patient’s spine quickly, either in the dorsal, lumbar, or pelvic areas, depending on which area is being treated. The quick drops allow Dr. Zach and Dr. Mitch to thrust on your spine at a much more powerful speed, using the most minimal amount of force to do it.
The initial thrust begins the movement of the spine, and the drop of the table takes the area of the spine being worked on through its full range of motion. This promotes better, easier, more accurate adjustments, and swifter healing. We love it and so will you!

I thank the universe and a friend for recommending Midwest Chiro and Wellness. My 2 year old leg pain has been drastically reduced and I felt it from the very first Softwave treatment. It is truly amazing! I also had an initial chiro exam and so appreciated Dr. Mitch's explanations and gentleness. He is down to earth, funny, clear in sharing his knowledge, and engaged in connecting to everyone. Overall, the practice has a great energy and friendliness. You can tell that they are intentionally building a caring community there.
I am a chiropractor and these guys are my chiropractors. Both Dr. Mitch and Dr. Zach do great work. I started seeing them for a hip injury and received adjustments and soft wave treatment. Within a few treatments I started feeling better and am now back to doing the things I love without pain. I would highly recommend Midwest Chiropractic to anyone looking for exceptional chiropractic care!
I have received, gentle, And helpful chiropractic care. Though my experience with soft wave is extraordinary. Major low back pain has dissipated with this treatment. It’s a winner, and I recommend it highly for anyone with chronic low back challenges.

Midwest Chiropractic is truly the best chiropractic care in Minnesota. We drive an hour to be seen by Dr. Zach and Dr. Mitch. They have helped everyone in our family from herniated discs, to chronic pain, to injury recovery of the ankle and knee-that PT alone was not helping. I could go on and on about what makes their approach different than others.
My kids both competitively figure skate on the national level and when we found Midwest they were dealing with recovery from major injuries. Dr. Zach and Dr. Mitch got them on the road to recovery through chiropractic and SoftWave sessions. Both kids earned National medals and when we came to Midwest we thought there season was lost! So thankful we found them!!
I was in town for business and woke up with excruciating neck pain after sleeping in a hotel bed for days. Called in the morning and they were kind enough to fit me in 3 hours later. Dr. Mitch was empathetic, kind, and quite the comedian which helped forget the pain. Their latest Softwave TRT technology is well worth a try, amazing results….thanks Dr. Mitch!

I recently had a fantastic experience at Midwest Chiropractic and Wellness working with Dr. Zach! The entire team at the clinic is super knowledgeable and friendly. Scheduling is easy, and I completely trust them with my care. They've been incredibly helpful in creating a clear treatment plan, and the results from the softwave treatment machine on my stubborn hamstring injury were excellent. I highly recommend them for their expertise and top-notch patient care.
